Year End Online Purchase

Dahil may utang pa akong isang gift sa aking officemate, I decided to order these cute outfits from Syala Collection.

I've been an online shopper for 4 years now and so far BPI talaga ang preferred mode of payment  ko. Madalas akong nag o-over the counter sa mga BPI branches na konti lang ang tao. Later this year I decided to open a BPI ATM Account para ma take advantage ang mobile funds transfer. Kaya heto na nga, first time ko xang gamitin and wow I was amazed sa bilis and hassle free na transaction.

Kris Kringle 2014

December na. Uso na naman ang Christmas party at exchange gifts. I suggested na gawan ng weekly theme ang 7 weeks Kris Kringle namin. The idea was actually gaya-gaya sa usual na ginawa namin sa ORD way back 2 and 3 yrs ago. Majority  (by that I am referring to my officemates in our section) decided to have on the:

1st week - Something Sweet
2nd week - Something Soft
3rd week - Something Red
4th week - Something Long
5th week - Something Hard
6th week - Something Wet
7th week - Something Slimy

Then we would have a finale gift not lesser than P300 during our culmination/year end/thanksgiving party.

We also used Code Names para may twist. Mine was STORMBORN because I'm a big fan of Game of Thrones and Khaleesi. My santa was ARIES, a collections personnel on a job-order-status. I'll be playing santa to OLAF who happens to be my batch mate. I wasn't able to give my finale gift to OLAF and she'll be out for a long VACATION. Buti na lang she was too kind to consider na january 12 ko pa maibibigay ang gift ko (sa bisaya pa PAN-OS NA).

So here were the things I got from our Kris Kringle:

Thank you LORD for these gifts and for the long vacation.

Views on Marriage for Single Ladies

Don’t get married to escape loneliness. A spouse won’t cure loneliness. Your partner will never fulfill the deep longing in your heart that only God can fill.

Don’t get married because you figure “I’m not getting any younger… might as well”  right?… WRONG!

Don’t get married because you feel pressured from family, a spiritual leader, or your mate.

Don’t get married out of desperation. Because you’re tired of waiting for the one God has for you. Don’t compromise Mr. Right for Mr. Right Now.

Christmas gift from one of our valued customers

Received a pack of Delmonte Pasta and Spaghetti sauce from one of our valued customers. Hindi ako mahilig humingi ng pamasko kaya iba talaga ang feeling pag may kusang nagbibigay kahit hindi mo naman hiningan----yung di mo naman inabot pero kusa nalang ilalagay sa table mo.hehehe. I guess this is the first time I've ever received something like this in my entire working experience so I'm really thankful for the generosity of the giver.

Belated Birthday Present

This afternoon I received this simple yet valued water bottle from a very thoughtful office mate as a belated birthday present. It's been awhile since I received a gift that suits my personality so I really appreciate this cute lil thing. Thank you so much LORD for the heart that giveth, may you bless her all the more.

El Nido Purse

El Nido Palawan was by far the BEST summer destination I've ever been to. The beauty and serenity of God's creation was so breathtaking, jaw-dropping and pocket-emptying (lol). For a stingy seasonal wanderlust like me,  It was worth all my pennies and dimes.

So here's a summary of my expenses for 3D2N trip to El Nido Palawan:
  • Sommer Beach House to San Jose Bus Terminal via Tricycle  - P 50/head
  • San Jose Bus Terminal to El Nido Public Market via RORO non AC Bus  - P 294
  • El Nido Public Market to Rovics Inn via Tricycle  -  P 50 (shared by 4 or less passengers)
  • 3D2N Accommodation w/ breakfasts at Rovics Inn and Island Hopping (Tour A) w/ Lunch on Day 2 - P3400
  • 3 Meals at a Karinderya near the Catholic Church (1 Lunch & 2 Dinner)  -  P 300
  • Drinking Water good for 3D2N, snacks, toiletries  - P 300
  • Snorkeling gear - P100
  • Rovics Inn to El Nido Public Market via Tricycle   -  P 50 (shared by 4 or less passengers)
  • El Nido Public Market to Puerto Prinsesa Airport via Eulen Joy Van - P 500 (a friend did the negotiation that's why it was cheaper than usual)
          TOTAL         =      P  4,994

I'm planning to get a cheaper package that includes airport transfers on my next visit and probably stay longer and avail all Island Hopping and Inland Tours. So for now, its just me and my wishful thinking.

BE FIT

I am an ectomorph . I've been struggling about weight gain and building muscle mass. I've watched tons of fitness videos, even performed BFP dozen and run a maximum of 5km atleast once a week to be fit...but because i was too weak to lift weights and with the little knowledge i have about my body type, the entire routines --- including Insanity (w/o the weights), Hiphop Abs, Fitness Blender, Be Fit, Tone Up Tuesday, etc etc--- just stressed the heck outta me. I lost my appetite and burned the-only-muscles-that's-left-of-me instead.

What was even more traumatic is when nobody understood my struggles and people would just say "JUST EAT MORE"--- as if i never tried it.

So one day, while i was surfing for fitness photos i stumbled through an article entitled The Skinny on “Just Eat More” by

I was virtually nodding for every point that was explained-- it appears like the article was written for me. Though I have no plans to buy the "Boney to Beastly" Ebook, their articles online were very very helpful for the very few and "uninformed" ectomorphs.
